A good one at that. And I gotta admire the guy for the amazing viral promotion for Year Zero. But ultimately, what he's saying here about labels ripping off bands and fans alike are sentiments every other band on Wax Trax (the label that put Pretty Hate Machine originally) were saying 10 years ago. Welcome to the clue train Trent...now you wonder why nobody else is on interscope.

Actually Dave, Trent never released anything on Wax Trax other than the Supernaut single with 1,000 Homo DJ's and that was never officially released because Trent's label TVT Records didn't give permission until they bought Wax Trax and distributed the Black Box box set in I believe 96 or 97. So Trent may have hung out with a lot of the Wax Trax artists, but he was never on the label. He was only signed to TVT. After Pretty Hate Machine was released on TVT Trent wanted off the label since they didn't have the money for marketing and promotion that he wanted. TVT refused and that is how you get the TVT label on Broken and The Downward Spiral that were released through Nothing/Interscope. Just some factual correction there my friend.
Later.

It's all good homey, not as many people are a walking encyclopedia of Wax Trax! history as I am. I lived and breathed everything on that label for about ten years, so I'm pretty down with it.
