I was following this story with some curiosity, but then today, it turned out my assumptions were correct.
To that whole thing I say good fucking riddance. Sorry to be so harsh, but if you are dumb enough to get drunk and go taunt a 350lb animal (behind a cage or not), then you deserve what becomes of you when/if said animal happens to be in the same area as you. You ain't so fuckin' cocky now are ya?
SRSLY, I'm not like, some vegan, and having castrated pigs and spent time in a slaughterhouse in my younger days, I probably don't seem like an animal rights activist, but there's necessity and there's cruelty. And this is squarely in the latter.
If I were in charge, they would have tasered the animal and it would have lived. And just for the sake of poetic justice, those kids parents would be more than welcome to face whom they are accusing. Mom and dad, meet Tatiana. We'll go ahead and leave you alone as I'm sure you have much to discuss.
