Motobecane is quickly becoming my favoritist bike manufacturer. I mean fuck, they are selling the 400DS for $379.99! While you certainly are losing some ground in the way of that heavy-ish frame and it would be worth the extra 100 bucks to get the Dart 1 fork, that's a fuckload of bike for under 400 bucks. You could definitely do worse. I wasn't planning on getting a new mountain bike since my Wahoo certainly does the trick...prices like that and the advent of full suspension (with the knowledge that I'll probably be spending more time in Breckenridge Colorado in the summers since the 'rents decided to buy a condo there), I could definitely be arsed.
