Keepin' the faith in 08

Finally I can say that and it rhymes (was actually the phrase uttered by the night-stock autistic guy at the Waterloo Iowa Home Depot-don't ask why I know that).

Sorry it's been awhile. Been busy around these parts. The weekend turned into a long binge between Friday and Saturday. Good times had by all (I think). Ryan's girlfriend Emily was here Thursday and Friday, and even though she hung out with us on Thurs, My memory of that is super vague as the booze began to add up....yeah that's how I roll.

Sunday Tomas and I went mountain biking for the first time since the snow went away (we found a few remote spots in the woods where there was still some white stuff on the ground, but it was deep in there). The following pics are the result of that trip:

Yeah it was a little muddy.

Good things still afoot at work. News broke today my old company finally got sold (this deal has been going on for nearly 8 months from what I can tell). I figured this would happen eventually. Most of the people I worked with there are gone now, and this includes the two that are on my 'clothesline on sight' list. So I guess good luck to who's all still there.

Spent most of the night lifting/running. I'm uppin' the weights I use for dumbell stuff....guess that means I'm mightier now or something. But I wasn't feelin a burn the last couple weeks. I've come to the conclusion that I simply can't to running on treadmills. I'm not consistent enough. I vary speed way too much, and it's too fucking humid standing there without any breeze. This is what happens when you run all year 'round outdoors I guess.

Worked on music shite and got nowhere fast. You'll have that I suppose.

Oh, and it turns out Callisto is finally available on itunes. So if you harbor some disdain for purchasing your digital music from anything besides Steve's store, you are out of excuses now.
