I think one of the most annoying characteristics of rock musicians is their apparent belief that they are the only ones who don't like George Bush. As a result, you have dumbass quotes like this one from Richard Patrick (about his new album)
"We've got two oil men in the fuckin' White House that have destroyed our country. And we can't seem to recognize that as a culture. It just astounds me. So it's a call to arms."
What fucking culture is he referring to? Because as near as I can tell, hating on GWB is like the hip thing to do. Name me one celebrity that isn't a country musician or Kid Rock that doesn't have some disdain for Bush? Go figure a dude who hasn't had a hit since the 90's shows up late to the parade on this one.
And what's the call to arms he's talking about? Oh yeah, America is completely ignorant to the woes of the country and how the administration has screwed things up. But don't worry because Richard Patrick and his band are going to lead us to the promised land with their top 40 wannabe pop rock.
Celebrities talking about politics only goes to remind us that they'd be working at a Wendys if they weren't hot or played an instrument.

hey man, nice shot (pun intended)... but that's a low blow to the people working at Wendy's. I dig that spicy chicken sammich... dammit now I'm hungry.
